Merilia was not able to
remember when she had first met Kara. But she had heard about Kara’s
“Virtual Water Project” at her early days in the “Universal
System”.The “Universal System”, US was the global future
definition for all citizens of their world. The “Virtual Water
Project”, VWP was the main success of Kara in her voyage to her
goals. She was also famous for her contribution to immortality
studies. When Meri heard about Kara’s complex thoughts, she had
felt irritated. She had seen death in the reflections coming from
Kara’s mind. It was peculiar. Kara was after immortality. Her image
on Meri, however, was black, it was a complete darkness. Meri had
shaken with fear of losing everything she had gained from the
universe and time. She had trembled with a fear of eternal
nonexistence. It was weird. Kara should have been comparatively young
when she had started going after her target. It was not possible to
estimate Kara’s exact age since Meri did not know even her own age
exactly. The times were different. Even the bodies with most natural
bodies were being strictly preserved during lifetime. Only the types
and limits of intervention were different. The most natural man Meri
had ever seen was Met. The most natural woman Met had ever seen was
Meri, he had said that just after a very special moment.. The two
most unnatural people Met and Meri had ever seen were Oria and Kara.
It was not possible for
Meri to identify when VWP had actually started. She was trying to
trace her own memory records, but she had limited information there.
She remembered long discussions between defenders of real and virtual
water, natural or artificial skin, mind and artificial intelligence,
solid or volatile matter, free or restricted spirit. The reflections
coming from Met’s skin, however, were vast. Kara had a long past
witnessing almost all of the recent developments. Met was the special
one for Kara for a certain period. She had shared almost everything
with Met. They were like living in a small world of their own in
their two skins at different locations. The records of their common
experience should include all the secrets of Kara. Meri connected to
Met’s skin interface to witness his memories with Kara.
“Water is life,”
said Kara.
“Bread is life,”
said Met.
Met sipped a drop from the
glass in Kara’s hand. Kara ate the small piece of bread that Met
had carefully placed between her lips.
“Having water and
bread is love,” they said. Meri read the hot connection between
them from their eyes. She was not as jealous as before. What Met was
living with Kara was being lived in a different time and space. So
they were not Met and Kara. They were two far strangers Meri had
never seen. There was only one Met in the entire time and space. He
was now sitting next to Meri. Meri hugged and kissed him with love.
“Water is
critical,” said Kara. “I spent my entire life to solve water
paradox of the universe in most effective way.”
Met looked at Kara with
big question marks in his eyes. Meri smiled. Met was too far from
real life, from touching and understanding the secrets of actual
materials. He was not technical enough to establish direct links
either with molecules or their upper and lower levels. He just had a
very strong sense of feeling the Universe and its reflections. This
was giving a great power to him for understanding and changing other
humans and other species. He was creating a common and strong feeling
of existence covering the entire world and the entire universe. Met’s
Spirit World written with his soft communication interface was
stronger than Kara’s Skin System. Met had been able to affect Kara
even when he was in Met’s Skin given to him by Kara.
Kara came near to Met She
started kissing him. She was caressing him with love. She was hugging
him as if she was trying to protect him from unknown dangers of the
universe.
“Having water and
bread is love,” repeated Kara. “Water is critical for life and
future. There were wars for lands, for seas and rivers, for forests
and mountains, for petroleum and other natural resources, and for
many other reasons. The key is water. It opens the door of life, and
it closes it. The one who controls water, controls the life in the
entire universe. She can give all living species what they need. She
can give them life. She can give them everything.”
“Everything but a
reason to live,” said Met.
The meaning on Kara’s
face was obvious. She was upset. Her eyes were hopeless. She was
seeing that her entire life had been desperate, and she was still
desperate. She desperately needed Met to live.
“You are my
reason,” said Kara. She started kissing, hugging, touching, loving
him violently. A very special scene was being initialized. It was not
all new for Meri, but each different record of Met and Kara’s
encounters was having special effects on Meri. She was feeling
jealous, stimulated, sensual, passionate, lustful, She was missing
Met too much. She was desperately needing having a conscious
encounter with him. She was forcing herself to believe that they
would leave all problems behind soon and be together freely and
independently together again. She had to find a way to stop Kara and
send her out of their lives. The opposite would be the biggest
disaster of the history. It could be an early end.
If Met could be the reason
of Kara, could Kara be the reason of humanity? Could she be the
reason of entire universe?
