Meri remembered a strong
image in Met's memories from his past. It was a reflection of a hand
he was mentioning, occasionally in general, frequently in some
periods when he had problems. Met had told about the hand many many
times with a respectful and grateful look in his eyes. Meri was not
able to understand whether Met's feelings were for the hand and for
the owner or the hand, or for the woman who had created the image of
the hand in Met's memories. Met was also talking about an initiator
explained by a man in Met's memories. The Initiator had been
introduced to Met as the evidence of a universal spirit. Meri was not
able to trace the effect of The Universal Spirit, but The Hand
seemed to have important effects on Met's future. In the end, all of
the humans were weak in all ways. They needed some kind of support on
their back to survive. Since the supports coming from the real worlds
had always been limited and conditional, virtual supports had always
been necessary to feel strong against the harshness of the nature and
the world.
The face of the woman in
Met's memories was reflecting many good feelings like understanding,
supporting, fondness, compassion, benignity, tenderheartedness, and
loving kindness. Met or one of his ancestors was seeming to be very
relaxed and happy while he was looking at her face and her eyes. The
woman was showing all the signs of a perfect belief in what she was
telling. Besides, Meri had also become sure that the woman's
existence and its reflections were right, true, correct, and real.
This was not a common character frequently and easily found in the
past. It was even not easy to find such consistent existences in
Met's and Meri's era. It was therefore easier for Kara to gain new
supporters. Living in a defined and controlled world was the
automatic choice of starting level minds. Higher level minds were
seldomly willing to really help lower level minds for their
development. The systems were always trying to generate their copies
for the future.
Kara was offering and
giving a hand to all the members in her system. Skin System's hand
was always with her supporters. However, the support of The Hand was
conditional. It would be with them as long as they support Kara. The
current representative of Bakara's Skin System was Kara, and obeying
Kara's wills was a must. Any deviation from the routes she designed
were being punished harshly. It was not as violent as it was in the
history. They were absolutely keeping the children away from the
struggle area. All the members of both systems were protecting
children and they were doing everything they could do for their
healthy development. After they complete their starting level
programs and become ready to be included in the actual systems, all
the children were freely and independently making their own choices.
The source of the conflict between the two systems was death. Birth
and death rates in Anmeri's System was natural, but they were
strictly controlled in Bakara's System. At the beginning when Anmeri
and Bakara were working together for the system development, the
differences and divergences between the system alternatives were not
much. Anmeri had left working for The Skin System when a decision had
been made to reduce the allowable birth rates to minimum levels. The
meaning of this decision was clear. No birth would be allowed unless
a member of the Skin System became nonoperational due to an error.
Meri tried to understand
the complete story with more details. She searched the time and
location axis to find the first introductions of The Initiator and
for The Hand. There were no definite traces. They had probably
already existed in Met's memories at the beginning of his personal,
subjective existence. It was not possible to find or even estimate
the starting point of this image. It was probably much earlier then
even the birth of Met's mother.
