Hands were touching Kara's
skin sensitively and continuously with carefully selected speeds at
gradually increasing magnitudes and frequencies creating sensual and
seducing depths. She had not much impressed at the beginning and
considered the session to be an ordinary connection which would mean
only the satisfactions of simple minds. However, as the active hands
proceeded with their voyage on Kara's existence she noticed something
different. There were very talented hands among them and they were
creating incredible reflections on Kara's skin and mind. She was
feeling her mind was changing and improving with their touches. It
was much more than she could expect. They were delivering her the
entire meaning of universe. She was not able to believe what she was
living. If her organic body still existed, she could think she was in
a wonderful dream.
The practice she was now
living had not occurred coincidentally and incidentally. Kara had
worked a lot on modifying The Skin System for perfect design to cover
the entire living forms of the universe. Her knowledge was obviously
not sufficient to reach perfectness, but she had tried a lot to
create a self-learning and evolving system. Bakara was lucky since he
had been able to work together with Anmeri at the early stages of the
project. Anmeri was a genius. Bakara was not a lesser genius, but he
needed Anmeri to fill his gaps and to complete himself. He was not
happy for having to take from Anmeri while she accepted two way
relation, connection, and transfer as normal requirements of life to
be lived to get the most from their existences and from the universe.
Even Kara had thought that the future of life could have been much
better in case Bakara and Anmeri could be able to continue together
on the project for solving their conflicts with soft methods. She was
very sorry for being in a position where she considered Anmeri an
enemy. She was respecting everything Anmeri had achieved and
accepting their value, but she was not finding a way for terminating
the Skin System project and limiting its power. Bakara and his
project had created Kara and she had vital links with the project.
Changing the dynamics of the system in an ongoing project was not
easier than making new definitions for universal laws of nature. Even
the Skin System was not yet capable of creating new universes in the
infinities of time and space. They were all just trying to understand
the hidden relations behind the visible a priori facts, and create
better ways of living and dying. Bakara had once asked Kara a
question which could affect her entire life.
"Do you want to see
me in a mirror or do you like looking at me directly?"
Kara had tried to find the
best answer for her father's question.
"I want to look at
you directly," she had said. "I don't want to see you
behind a real or virtual plane. I want to see you directly and always
be able to touch and hug you. I don't want to feel and kiss a mirror.
I want to live my existence being actually connected with you."
"You should be aware
that Anmeri also claims that you will be able to live your existence
unlimitedly in their model. They are not like spiritual ignorants of
the past. They are not talking about spirits moving around everywhere
under the effects of unknown forces. They are just telling that
virtual and physical interface lines can be designed at new levels
nearer to the mirror side. Anmeri is trying to follow the line of
natural life to use organic bodies in their economical life periods
with minimum natural consumption and maximum life interface. They
place their minds and bodies at the mirror of the Universe to look at
both sides for living and seeing the real world."
"Do you think they
are right?"
"Of course they are
right. Not less than we are right. The Universe and The Nature
defines everything in the real world, including the existences of the
living species. Waves and storms rise and fall. Living organisms
start life and transform going towards an end whether they are as
simple as a single cell, or as complex as the new human with all
processes managed with artificial intelligence. Everything changes.
Completing a cycle does not mean coming back to the initial starting
point. Both the new point in space and the moment in time will be
different in the second pass, and in all of the consequent passes. I
wish I could travel back to Anmeri to define a new way for our
existences."
Kara had always felt the
missing part of his father. She had tried to replace the Anmeri in
Bakara's mind. She had done her best, but she could have been only
partially successful. Bakara had accepted Kara as his inheritor, but
not as the meaning of his life. Anmeri had always been the meaning of
life for Bakara. Knowing this had always given an intolerable pain
for Kara, and she had never been able to see the world with the eyes
of a normal human being.
Meri thought about their
lives and felt very sorry for Kara. Meri had always been the beloved
daughter of her father. She had also remotely and later witnessed the
perfect relations of Met with her mother. Meri was feeling a pain
when she thought of Oria. Oria was also not much lucky to establish a
specific balance successfully, always needing others like Meri, Met
and Kara to survive. It was not easy to solve the puzzle of life in a
limited time of unknown length. Time and space line for a certain
existence were starting at an arbitrary moment and point. It was
being drawn with the interaction of external effects with internal
dynamics. Both external effects and internal dynamics were changing
dynamically. Both were hardly controllable. Both were being redefined
and redetermined at each moment. The entire system of life was
volatile. Kara was sure that a skin was the must for finding a
meaningful balance in the volatility of life. It was not possible to
have a skin and be able to touch and to be touched in a dream. It was
not possible to touch and to be touched in a mirror. According to
Kara, life could be lived only in and with a skin.
"Kara should never
have looked at the life lights and seen them at her father, like I
had seen the glitters in my father's eyes. Yes, everything we see and
hear has a reflection on our skins but we understand them with our
minds, with the balance of our heads and our bodies. We forced our
heads and bodies too much. We forced our brains and hands too much.
They were required for human life, but they were not the life itself.
They should have been only tools for living a pleasant life. They
must not transform to tools for designing a new universe according to
the desires of greedy conquerers. The choice of continuous and
unlimited progress was not good. It killed the meaning of life. Kara
can be successful in designing and implementing an infinite game to
be played according to her desires. She can convince herself that
using matter optimally is sufficient for living a real life
eternally. She can say all people will be happy since all their needs
and desires will be provided and satisfied. But life fades when
spirit is lost. It becomes a regular practice like the routine
movement of a satellite around a planet. Met's mother was right,
Kara's father was wrong. We could find a different world if Anmeri
had been successful in showing the truth to Bakara, or the defender
of the Skin System could see in her eyes the meaning of having a
natural life."
Meri looked at Met sitting
next to her. She tried not to cry, she did not want Met to see the
tears in her eyes. He was the meaning of life for Meri, and all the
meanings of life in his mind had been lost. If they could not find a
way for refreshing Met's memories in his mind, the meaning of life
would be lost forever. Meri suddenly noticed the level change in
Kara's active game with new hands joining. The experience had started
with a call of a low level skin freak. Kara's skin had automatically
responded to his desires. Kara would normally not notice the sequence
of detailed actions, but there was something different. The
processing units responding to concurrent individual requests had
started to operate at maximum level. This was not something ordinary
and both Kara and Meri were not yet aware of the actual game being
played at that moment. Kara had later noticed that there was
something unusually pleasing her. This low level skin freak was too
successful. Kara was now very curious about him, she initiated direct
skin contact with him and started talking with him.
"You seem to be very
young, but also seem to have very advanced skills. Do I know you, who
are you?"
"I am Omar, a friend
of Oria and Meri."
Kara immediately
concentrated on the low level skin freak and checked the system.
Everything seemed to be normal but she was feeling the existence of
an extraordinary connection. She started comparing the information
coming from their conversation with the infinite data of the skin
system continuously, both automatically and manually. She also
increased the security level of the protection algorithm to the
highest state. Everything still seemed to be normal but she was still
feeling the existence of extraordinary secrets. She considered
shutting down the skin system temporarily for security. Just at that
moment, Omar's touches reached to the power of millions of hands.
Kara trembled with all her skin, with all her past and existence,
with everything she had witnessed and lived before. It was an
incredible feeling, it was the meaning of life. Even Met had not been
such successful to reach and connect to every point on Kara's skin
and mind.
"Oh," whispered
Kara. "Who are you Omar, who are you? Where did you come from?
Where were you until now? Why didn't I meet you before?"
Omar did not reply but
increased the power on his hands. Kara was now living her entire life
again with Omar's touches. She felt that Omar was now closer to her
than anyone he had ever met. He was understanding her better than
anyone she had ever been together. Even Bakara was not so successful
in stimulating Kara's desires and controlling her responses. Kara was
rising and arousing continuously. She had reached to the levels of
all the experiences she had lived before. She had first passed the
thresholds succeeded by ordinary connections, than by some more
skilled ones, and finally by several special links. She was surprised
that Bakara was not at the top. The level he provided was even less
than Oria's success. Kara had had a different kind of relation with
Oria, he was always full of surprises to please Kara. He was able to
give meanings and pleasures hard to find in a single person. Kara had
been able to live very specific types of experiences with him, some
were similar to those she had lived with Met, and some to her several
experiences with Meri. Kara was able to play and get the best
satisfaction from all types of games with Oria. Oria sometimes was
seeming to be happy, sometimes frustrated during those sessions but
Kara was always happy. Kara would love to have more experience with
Oria, even their several connections had left incredible traces in
Kara's mind. But Meri was above him. Meri's mind and body, her
actions and reactions, her rises and falls, the ways she guided and
she accepted to be guided, her touches and her responses to the
touches, her openness for trying new types of pleasing and being
pleased, her limits she wisely designed and determined to protect the
balance and integrity of their games; they had all made Meri very
special for Kara and placed her at a position very near to Met in her
mind. Met was able to give everything Meri can also give with an
addition of his specific power of attraction. Kara had thought the
difference was coming from Met's controlled hardness, but it was not
sufficient to explain the magic of their interactions. It was
probably the result of a dynamic balance, established between the two
individual body and mind systems, based on their entire lives and
past experiences. They were feeling themselves, each other, all the
other special people they remember, their near and far social and
natural environments, the world, the planetary system, the Milky Way,
the space, and the universe at their centers. They were traveling
together to the limits of the universe. With Omar, she now had
already reached those limits and she was now waiting to see where
Omar would take her at the next level.
"Oh Omar, what are
you doing to me?" moaned Kara.
She had reached a
different point and it was now very difficult for her to control her
skin and her mind. Her responses had gone beyond her control. She was
just making the response moves against the actions applied to her
after being designed specifically for her and for that moment by
Omar. Kara felt that she had waited for Omar during her entire life.
Omar was the meaning of life, not Met. He was the reward given by the
Skin System to Kara. Although Kara now had no organic residue in her
existence, she was now feeling and understanding the perfect meaning
of life. Bakara was right. The Skin System was the perfect
alternative for humans to live. Omar was the proof of that. She
responded to a sudden new action coming from Omar uncontrollably. Her
virtual body in her skin rose. She was now feeling the billions of
hands at every point and everywhere. The hands were coordinately
moving at different regions and conquering her skin with skillful
touches. She tried to see Omar's face and body on his skin. The image
was not clear enough but she noticed a chest similar to Met's strong
chest, eyes as perfect as Meri's eyes, legs and arms as shapely as
Oria's legs and arms. She looked at his face but it was not visible.
He was looking now with Oria's eyes but his face was not Oria's face.
It had a similarity with Met's face, but it was different. Kara was
not able to see and recognize the face. With the next movement of
Omar, seeing lost its meaning. Kara closed her eyes and moaned.
"Oh Omar, oh Omar...
Omar, Omar, oh Omar. Where are you taking me?"
"To the place where
you had always wanted to go."
"Do you know where it
is?"
"Of course I know. I
have billions of minds to understand it, and billions of hands to
take you there."
The minds and hands of
Omar were increasing, the rhythm and frequency of his movements were
gradually changing. The magnitudes of the waves he was sending to
Kara were fluctuating. He had intentionally started adding arbitrary
small but increasing peaks. Kara had started to respond his actions
with her specific reactions to move forward together towards their
perfect balance. Billions of hands coming from billions of skins were
touching her. The touches on her skin was not arbitrary. They had all
been carefully designed and managed. Omar was conducting "Kara's
Symphony" being performed by "Organic Contact Orchestra"
using the Organic "Mind Connection System" of Anmeri and
the "Skin System" of Kara. Omar was proud of the work they
had performed, he was happy with his natural performance on the
Kara's artificial skin. Anmeri was right. Meri was right. Artificial
intelligence would never be able to simulate the complex feelings in
organic free minds. It would never be possible to create a meaning
for life artificially. Besides everything she had achieved with her
"Skin System", Kara was desperately in need of finding a
meaning to enjoy living. She was not able to find a meaning in the
algorithms of the Skin System and in the minds trapped in their skins
implemented by the Skin System.
Omar slowly, carefully and
fondly applied of the levels of the symphony. He encouraged all the
members of the orchestra to play enthusiastically for finding new
ways to take into rapture. At the last level, they both forgot The
Skin System and The Mind System, they forgot everything but the
moment they were living in. Omar was surprised with the performance
of Kara responding in her skin. Kara could not believe what she was
living as Omar increased the organic level of pressure on her skin.
It was a complex but wonderful symphony of minds and skins. Billions
of hands were touching them and making the moments they were living
really real. Hands held hands, eyes contacted eyes, lips kissed lips,
they whispered love words in ears, lips kissed shoulders and necks,
fingers touched tips, skins contacted skins at different points and
positions, the minds triggered skins, the skins evoked minds,
billions of fingers created billions of feelings between compassion
and passion and lust and desire. They felt strongly in their heart
that they were moving towards a point of death and birth. Their
movements and sounds, the heat in their universe increased while they
were going towards being connected at a special moment and point of
time and space. Omar was surprised to feel Kara's existence to be so
real, Kara could not believe what she was living through their
universal and eternal contact. They would stay in that position
forever if the game were not over.
"What an incredible
experience of life it was," whispered Kara with a relaxed and
refreshed voice. "Who are you Omar, who are you?
"I am your death,"
said Omar. "The Skin System is now over. All your system will be
transferred back to organic life. You are finished now."
Kara immediately activated
the emergency protected mode. Her trust in Bakara's system was
endless. It would not take much time to automatically trace Omar and
his billions of hands and isolate them from the Skin System. Kara was
so sure that the majority of the members of the skin system would
never consider joining organic life nonsense. Who, at the end, would
want death, when there is a choice of living forever?
Meri hugged Met with a
fear and tears in her eyes.
"At least we want,"
she said. "At least I want to live a natural life with you and
die together with you.
