Sounds were covering all
ears. Vibrations of the atmosphere and the oceans were propagating at
sound speed. Lightnings and thunders were carrying fear at electric
speed causing unbearable pains in individual minds. Life and future
were becoming dark. Hope was disappearing from all visible
reflections. The only music left was the symphony of death.
Meri listened to the
details of the storm to understand its size and character, but tried
not to hear and see the fatal features hidden in its strong
structures. She was feeling the power of the universe, which was
definitely still much powerful than Kara and her system. She wondered
whether Kara also was hearing, seeing, smelling, tasting, and being
touched by the timeless and spaceless eternal power of light and
darkness, existence and non-existence. "We are still too small
and weak," she thought. She touched Met's face caressing his
cheeks with her hand and his lips with her fingers. She hugged him
tightly as if it were possible to protect him from the powers of Kara
and the universe. She kissed him from his lips passionately touching
all points of his skin.
"I am here my
darling," she whispered. "I will always be here with you.
All storms have an end. We will see the sun again. Nobody, even Kara
and her system will be able to prevent this. Civilizations and lives
are finite. Storms and darknesses are also so. We will see the sun
again."
Met smiled. Meri was not
able to understand it was a response to her words or a feeling coming
from his blurry memories.
